Get Ready, Get Set, GoPlay!

A Sport and Social Club for Kids!

GoPlay! is your new local sports club for kids 18 months to 7 years old, offering sport programs, social events, drop-in's, birthday parties and more. It’s a low commitment, recreational, and fun place for kids to learn a variety of sports, as well as physical literacy and life skills, be active and meet friends right in their own community.

Low Commitment Low Commitment

At GoPlay! we let our coaches do the work… not the parents. There are no volunteer or fundraising requirements – simply show up to your weekly class and watch your child flourish.

Flexible Flexible

Life is unpredictable… we get that. Can’t make it this week? Mark your child as absent and join us for a makeup class or drop-in when it’s convenient for you. Learn more here.

Social Social

GoPlay! offers more than just a fun sporting experience. There are opportunities for both kids and parents to have fun and meet new people in your own community.

Life Skills Life Skills

Learning a sport is more than just how to kick a ball. It’s about teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, independence, and confidence. Our coaches will actively teach these skills each week.

Inclusive Inclusive

GoPlay! is a safe and inclusive environment for all kids. No matter what your child’s experience or skill level, you’re welcome here.

Community Focused Community Focused

We’re proud to be part of the local community. Each season, we give away one free spot per class to a child who may otherwise lack the resources or access to get involved, because all kids deserve the chance to GoPlay! Learn more here.

Powered By Your Local Sport and Social Club

The Sport and Social Club (SSC) was founded in Alberta in 1996 and has since grown to host over 10,000 teams annually in both Calgary and Edmonton. The SSC’s motto is “fun-first, winning-second;” it gives adults in each city the chance to stay active in sport while building and maintaining their social networks. While the adult and kids’ programs do have different formats, we want to take all the SSC does for the adult community in our cities and give a similar experience to kids!
